From hitting clutch threes on the hardcourts to nailing eggplants on the ramps, Nike’s Blazer Mid has been part of it all. While its presence around the world was unmistakably felt, India seemed to lack familiarity with this global icon. Boy, did that change.
For its arrival, we pulled out all the stops for the Blazer’s launch. Joining forces with one of India’s leading skateboarding movements in @bombay_sb. We hit the ramps in style with Carter Road’s vibrant new skate park as our stage for the day. Kids to adults, all kinds of people from the community put their skate skills to the test. Others watched as the decks were conquered with masterful tricks and moves.
We saw some of Mumbai’s finest skaters come out and showcase their talent, with our favourites receiving the shoe for the awesome show that they put on. The Blazer continues a fabled legacy as a shoe for all, with its India debut cementing its place as a must-have for sneakerheads alike.
